Paris Hilton was out partying at a Miami nightclub when her $2 million engagement ring flew off her finger. She was with her fiancé Chris Zylka at the RC Cola Plant when she lost the 20-carat diamond ring. Good thing the actor was at the scene and kept a cool head, or else they might have lost the diamond ring forever.

According to reports, Zylka led a search of the nightclub while Hilton crying over the lost ring. She also cried in relief when her husband-to-be found the engagement ring. She shared on Twitter that the ring was big and heavy. It few off her finger and landed in an ice bucket a couple of tables away from where she was dancing.

Searching for the diamond ring was not an easy task. The venue is around 50,000 square feet and has a maximum capacity of 7,000 people. It was a miracle he found the ring in an ice bucket. Hilton said she was lucky that the ring was found.

About the $2 Million Engagement Ring

Zylka commissioned Michael Greene, a Los Angeles-based jeweler, to design the engagement ring. It was modeled after a ring from the collection of Paris’ mother Kathy Hilton. It features a 20-carat stone set on a platinum band.

The two met eight years ago at an Oscars’ after-party. However, the two didn’t reconnect until two years ago. Zylka proposed to Hilton while they were on a ski trip in Aspen in January. Hilton said that it was love at first sight with the ring. She added that it was the most beautiful ring in the world. The hotel heiress took extra precautions to keep the ring safe while on vacation. She has learned to keep her belongings secured after the Bling Ring victimized her in 2009.
